The Surly Midnight Special is a staff favourite, great for gravel trails without slowing you down on pavement.
We decided to put one together that is a little more road oriented and included a hydraulic 12 speed groupset for range and braking. The L-Twoo groupsets are a great budget option to make your wide range 12s bikes a reality, paired with some Curve Walmer bars, 700c DT Swiss rims for strength and some supple Specialized Pathfinder tyres, its a really fun bike.
