The Surly Karate Monkey is a one bike do it all, Bikepacking, touring, mountain biking or even hectic commuter bike. Fun enough for good time and serious enough for the long haul.

Brake Upgrade Super Special Offer:
In previous years these bikes came with Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes. Due to parts shortages they were switched to Avid BB5 cable disc brakes at the factory last minute. Basically we are happy to offer a Brake upgrade at the cost of the parts with no labour, if we do it while building the bike.
These pricing options are only if we do it, out of the box, i.e. install it straight away when building your bike. We can't build the bike completely with the BB5 brakes and then swap to hydro at these prices.
