We're currently hiring for two positions:
Sales assistant (part time)
We're looking for someone to work 10am-6pm Monday and Tuesday, and 10am-4pm Saturday, as part of our sales team.
This role involves helping customers with their purchases of bikes, parts and accessories. You'll be answering the phone, answering emails, and speaking to customers as they come in. You'll need to give customers advice about what sort of products will best suit their needs. Training on our range of products will be provided, however a background knowledge of bicycle products is preferred.
Senior mechanic (full time)
We're looking for someone to work 8am-4pm Tuesday to Friday, and 10am-4pm Saturday, as part of our workshop team.
This role involves servicing and repairing a range of bikes, including electric bikes (Bosch, Shimano, eZee), folding bikes (Brompton, Tern), and touring bikes. You'll need to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electric bike systems, hydraulic brake systems, mechanical and electronic gear systems, as well as many other areas of bike repairs. Experience working in a bike shop is preferred, however applicants with other backgrounds will be considered.
What you need to know
Both of these roles are permanent positions, with a 3-month probationary period. They include superannuation, paid annual leave (4 weeks pro rata), and paid sick leave (10 days pro rata).
