The Brompton Extended Seatpost (steel) is longer than the standard option by a further 6cm (2.5 inches) and is a single post. When the bike is folded the saddle sits higher by the same amount (6cm or 2.5 inches).
It may be worth considering the Telescopic seatpost if you need to store the folded bike in a height-restricted space.
