Nalgene water bottles were developed in the medical sphere and have become the go-to product for a long lasting, virtually indestructible and non-reactive plastic water bottle. Staff at the shop absolutely love them for touring: they are super easy to clean, have no effect on flavour, and hold more volume than many other bottles.
A pair of Nalgene 1L or 1.5L on the fork legs for bikepacking, or a 1L as a secondary bottle, is a great way to increase water carrying volume. At the end of your tour they can go in the dishwasher, and the opening is actually large enough to allow you to scrub out the insides.
Nalgene bottles wont fit in standard bottle cages, but we have a variety of greaat cages that work with them such as the Velo Orange Mojave cage or the Looney Bin Cage. Alternatively, try some of our Cargo cages!
